It all started with great communication (both phone and email) and customer service from start - he updated or checked in with me every couple of hours on how the move was going, where his driver and our stuff was, even prior to our move when the crew got stuck in the ferry line-up from a job on Vancouver Island before us. The crew themselves were nice, cheerful, and efficient, despite the snow we had in both cities and having to stop by our storage unit in the middle of our move.

Based on their good reviews we decided to give The Real Estate Movers a try for our local move in Calgary in late October, 2024 but our experience with them was totally disappointing, and would not recommend them.
Victor helped me move my belongings from Windsor ON to Calgary AB. I would like to call him a one man army. The man came alone and moved a 2 bedroom house in 7 hours!!

Real Estate movers moved my all my house items from Calgary to Grande Prairie on Oct 29th. The guys did an awesome job loading everything carefully onto the truck. All my furniture was covered with moving blankets. Mattresses were put into bags to protect them. Everything arrived the next day complete & nothing broke. Thank you for a stress free move!!! The price was lower than all the other quotes I got.

Best move I have ever experienced! I would highly recommend Real Estate Movers. For this move we packed the boxes and they moved everything from one NW Calgary to another NW Calgary location.
1) Communication prior to the move was excellent. Victor visited the house about a week before the move to view the contents - thus he was able to provide a good estimate and know how many guys to put on the job.
2) The actual move was top notch. 3 men carefully wrapped each piece of furniture and moved it into the truck with no scapes or dings in the walls or goods! It was a hot day and they worked methodically and efficiently.
3) At the destination the movers carefully delivered the boxes and furniture to the rooms clearly labeled on the items again without any damage to walls or floors.
The 3 movers were all delightful people; excellent communicators and friendly and polite.

We used Real Estate Movers this weekend to move within Calgary. The team were excellent, hard working and efficient. My initial query was answered quickly and Victor was responsive to all my questions. We had some heavy pieces and moved into a townhouse with lots of stairs, the team powered through it all. Everything was carefully wrapped, with no damage to the items or the walls / floors in both houses. Thanks so much for making our move much less stressful! Would definitely recommend using them.
Fantastic, highly highly recommend. We did a long distance move from Alberta to Quebec ; Victor and his team provided excellent service and care of our belongings at a good price point. I had originally booked a POD with PODS but they don’t provide proper insurance for your belongings during transport and their price was very high considering you have to book separate labour at each end.
I got a few quotes from accredited full service movers, prices were very high and they try to charge you for the weight of your items so you could end up with an actual bill that is much higher than the quote.
Victor provided an invoice that matched the quote exactly. It was not by weight.
Victor and his team very carefully protected all our furniture and items to prevent any damage.
Additionally it was the same crew that delivered our belongings in Quebec as did the packing. So there was no “sub contracting” at the destination which is fantastic.

This is a great moving company! They packed and moved my entire 2 bedroom condo from Calgary AB to Burnaby BC. They were very careful and efficient and truly helped to make my moving experience as painless as possible. They even moved all my 42 outdoor planters, some of which had to come on a second load and they didn’t charge me extra. The guys were very pleasant to deal with and made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction! I would use them again and recommend them highly!

I have used their service twice. We had a content of 4 bedroom house plus very heavy piece of equipment moved into the storage in 2021 and then out of storage into the new house in 2023. Nothing was damaged, all furniture was very well protected (not a scratch) and service was fast and efficient. The price was also very competitive. Highly recommended.
I was recommended by a friend, and now I will be recommending others as well! My move was easy to book and communication was quick. An estimate was provided via pictures only (my preference). Movers showed up on moving day and were professional, very efficient and hard workers! Overall a great experience.

That being said. The driver and unloader worked without breaks to get things in and assembled and were happy to get things done for us with no hassle.

Victor was the only moving company that asked for pictures of everything that was to be moved. Every other company just guesstimated. He also assured me that they don’t go by weight but volume. He guaranteed his quote. His crew was great! Hard working bunch of men.
