You don`t have to be worry about tvs, paintings and other flat and fragile items. Real Estate Movers will provide mirror, tv boxes. Some items can be packed individually with either paper, bubble wrap or cardboard. Sometimes there`s a combination of all 3.
Every box will be labelled with the room the items are coming from so it`s easy to unload at the new house. Clothes will be packed in wardrobe boxes. The garage/shed contents will be packed in boxes or packed in bundles . By the end of the packing day everything will be boxes and ready for the loading.

It all started with great communication (both phone and email) and customer service from start - he updated or checked in with me every couple of hours on how the move was going, where his driver and our stuff was, even prior to our move when the crew got stuck in the ferry line-up from a job on Vancouver Island before us. 1) Communication prior to the move was excellent. Victor visited the house about a week before the move to view the contents - thus he was able to provide a good estimate and know how many guys to put on the job.
2) The actual move was top notch. 3 men carefully wrapped each piece of furniture and moved it into the truck with no scapes or dings in the walls or goods! It was a hot day and they worked methodically and efficiently.
3) At the destination the movers carefully delivered the boxes and furniture to the rooms clearly labeled on the items again without any damage to walls or floors.
The 3 movers were all delightful people; excellent communicators and friendly and polite.

They packed up my 5 bedroom house, stored our belongings for 6 weeks and then I got the same team to unload!!! No damage to any of the furniture which included antiques and no damage to either house!
Victor was the only company that had the option of allowing our contents to stay in the 48' trailer to avoid a double move. His prices are very reasonable.

I got a few quotes from accredited full service movers, prices were very high and they try to charge you for the weight of your items so you could end up with an actual bill that is much higher than the quote.
Victor provided an invoice that matched the quote exactly. It was not by weight.
Victor and his team very carefully protected all our furniture and items to prevent any damage.
Additionally it was the same crew that delivered our belongings in Quebec as did the packing. So there was no “sub contracting” at the destination which is fantastic.
Also note that many full service movers are not accredited with the BBB (better business bureau) and Canadian Association of movers). Real Estate movers are accredited with both.
Another excellent resource for home services is “Homestars”. Extremely reliable rating service.
Also, the packers reused boxes and a lot of labelling wasn’t very good with items not packed well. The move in was slow because the truck wasn’t loaded logically in order of room.
That being said. The driver and unloader worked without breaks to get things in and assembled and were happy to get things done for us with no hassle.
They offered to pickup the left behind items and deliver them to us at no charge. Stand up guys, thank you.
Not only did they deliver, they packed everything with care. All our belongings arrived intact, undamaged, and on time. Most importantly, the cost was AS INITIALLY QUOTED. Victor was very responsive throughout the move. He inspected our belongings in person to make the estimate. His team packed and handled our belongings with great care and efficiency. More fragile items were cushioned with blankets.
We had a time limit on our condo elevator booking, and his team finished loading the truck with lots of time to spare. The unloading team was just as proficient.
